Three Lines, 61 Stations: The Prague Underground

Prague's metro opened in 1974 and today carries over 600 million passengers annually. Lines A (green), B (yellow) and C (red) intersect at three transfer points — Muzeum, Florenc and Můstek — forming the backbone of the city's public transport.

The network is operated by DPP (Dopravní podnik hlavního města Prahy) and accepts the same Lítačka integrated transport pass valid for trams and buses.

Bus services on the same route are consistently cheaper and depart from Prague's Florenc and UAN Zvonařka terminals in Brno.
